The Pilz 777585 (PZE X4P) is a force-guided contact expansion module of the PNOZ X family. It adds four positively guided N/O safety contacts to a base safety relay (PNOZ X, PNOZsigma or PNOZ 1) to drive additional contactors or valves. It is wired in series with the base unit's safety circuit and shares its feedback loop; the maximum achievable safety level follows the base unit.
