VW3A5306 Schneider Electric - Schneider Electric VW3A5306 dv/dt Output Filter. The Schneider Electric VW3A5306 is a dv/dt output filter designed to protect AC motors from voltage spikes and high-frequency transients generated by variable frequency drives. This filter limits the dv/dt rate to 3000V per microsecond, reducing motor winding stress and extending motor lifetime. It is compatible with Altivar ATV930 and ATV950 drive ranges for power ratings from 55kW to 90kW. The filter features IP00 protection and is designed for panel-mount installation inside an electrical enclosure.
Used with Altivar ATV930 and ATV950 variable speed drives to protect connected AC motors from insulation degradation caindustrial by high dv/dt voltage transients, particularly in applications with long motor cable runs.
