The ARS60-A4M06000 is an absolute singleturn rotary encoder from the SICK ARS60 family. It provides position values with a resolution of 6,000 steps per revolution (about 12.6-bit singleturn resolution), giving machines an absolute shaft position immediately after power-on without a homing routine.
The “A4M” variant uses a PROFIBUS DP network interface for integration with PLC and drive systems, and is fitted with an M23 (12-pin) flange connector; the solid 10 mm shaft mounts through a servo flange (face-mount) with IP65-rated housing and shaft seal for industrial environments.
The encoder accepts a 10–32 V DC supply and operates over −20 °C to +80 °C, suiting speed and position feedback on cranes, conveyors, elevators, drives and machine shafts. Full technical data, connector pinout and dimensions are documented in the SICK datasheet for part number P288432.
