The -04UD generation (factory firmware Build 5903 onward) replaces the former -04UN / -04UP drives. Updates vs the former version: the 1.6 A variant and 110 VAC mains operation were discontinued; the control circuit accepts 24 VDC only; EMC performance and digital-input stability were improved; a memory-card fastening screw raises vibration reliability; a redesigned air duct and heatsink reduce noise and improve heat dissipation; dual-port PROFINET runs over E1/E2. Standard memory unit MFE190-MU-OCU stores configuration/firmware for tool-free swap; Mint WorkBench software is free.
