ABB TU532-H Terminal Unit for AC500 I/O Modules (Order Code 1SAP215100R0001)

The TU532-H is a terminal unit (base) for the ABB AC500/S500 I/O system. Terminal units provide the wiring base and I/O-bus connection onto which the S500 I/O modules clip, carrying field wiring and supplying power to the mounted module.

This variant is configured for 230 V AC applications and relay output modules, and uses spring terminals for fast, vibration-resistant wiring without screw tightening. It supports hot-swap of the I/O module, allowing modules to be replaced under power without disturbing the field wiring.

The terminal unit carries an IP20 protection rating for control-cabinet installation and is part of the modular AC500 distributed-I/O architecture used across machine and process automation.
