The OT250E12 is a three-pole, front-operated, base-mounted switch-disconnector from the ABB OT range. It provides reliable isolation and load switching for low-voltage power circuits, designed and tested to IEC 60947-3 for virtually maintenance-free service over a long mechanical life.
The disconnector is rated 250 A with rated insulation voltage of 1000 V and impulse withstand voltage of 12 kV. In AC-23A motor-load duty it switches up to 145 kW at 400 V, with rated short-time withstand current (Icw) of 8 kA for 1 second and short-circuit making capacity (Icm) of 30 kA. The front-operated mechanism suits baseplate mounting inside panels, and terminal bolts are included; the handle and shaft are ordered separately to match the installation.
With visible contact gap, padlocking capability and IP20 construction, the OT250E12 is used as main isolator in machinery, distribution boards and process panels requiring safe 250 A three-phase disconnection.
