The ABB ACS55 is a compact micro drive from the ABB general purpose drives family, designed for straightforward variable speed control of small AC motors in conveyors, fans, pumps, packaging and light material handling applications where space is limited and commissioning must be fast.
The ACS55-01E-04A3-2 version operates from a single-phase 200–240 V supply and delivers rated output current of 4.3 A for a 0.75 kW (1 hp) motor. The drive features scalar (V/Hz) and sensorless vector motor control, an integrated operator panel with a clear menu structure, and built-in application macros that configure inputs and outputs for common duties in minutes. Standard I/O plus an optional Modbus RTU interface cover typical connectivity needs, and the compact frame mounts on a DIN rail or with screws.
