The ACS350 is a compact variable speed drive from ABB’s general-purpose machinery drive range, built to support machine builders in applications requiring dynamic speed and torque control, repeatable performance and fast installation. It is a small, high-performance drive commonly used in conveyors, pumps, fans, packaging and material-handling equipment.
The -01E variant indicates a single-phase 200-240 V AC input (50/60 Hz), and the 06A7 rating gives a nominal output current of 6.7 A for a motor power around 1.1 kW. It features sensorless vector motor control, an integrated EMC filter and a built-in braking chopper (E frame type), and supports scalar V/Hz and vector control modes.
Key functions include fast commissioning with assisted start-up, a built-in Modbus RTU fieldbus link and optional fieldbus adapters, plus protection and diagnostic features for the motor and drive. The drive is an IP20 cabinet-mounting unit (R1 frame class) intended for installation in a control panel, with dimensions around 70 x 257 x 158 mm and weight about 1.0 kg. It is designed for an industrial environment over an operating temperature range suited to cabinet installation.
