The ACS141-K25-1 belongs to the ABB ACS140 series of compact micro drives, a small, low-power variable speed drive range developed for straightforward speed control of small AC motors in machines, conveyors, fans and pumps. Its compact footprint and straightforward parameter set make it well suited to OEM machines and light-industrial applications where simple motor speed adjustment is needed.
The drive operates from a single-phase 200–240 V AC supply at 50/60 Hz and is rated in the smallest frame size (frame A) of the range at 0.18 kW. The output stage delivers variable-frequency output for speed control of standard three-phase induction motors, with an output frequency range up to 250 Hz.
The ACS140 provides scalar (V/Hz) motor control with the essential drive protections and a straightforward keypad/parameter interface, and is designed for DIN-rail or screw mounting in small control enclosures. It represents ABB’s entry-level micro drive platform for low-power motor control.
