The AA9610 is a power distribution adapter for the ABB SMISSLINE pluggable busbar system (System Pro M compact). SMISSLINE is a touch-safe adapter system that allows protection devices to be plugged onto a live busbar without additional wiring, enabling fast, tool-free assembly and modification of distribution boards.
The adapter routes power from the SMISSLINE busbar system to the mounted protection devices while maintaining the system’s touch-safe design (IP20 finger-safe construction). It belongs to the SMISSLINE accessory family alongside adapter blocks, busbar supports and covers, all sharing the same plug-and-play platform that reduces installation time compared with conventional wiring.
The AA9610 is used when extending or reconfiguring SMISSLINE installations; selection depends on the device combination and busbar configuration of the target distribution system.
