The DO562 is an expansion output module in the ABB S500-eCo I/O family for the AC500 PLC system. It extends a compact AC500-eCo station with additional digital output channels for switching 24 V DC actuators such as solenoid valves, contactor coils and indicator lamps.

The module is part of the S500-eCo expansion range that adds I/O alongside the compact CPU, sharing the DIN-rail mounting and bus connection of the eCo platform. Digital outputs switch the 24 V DC actuator supply under PLC program control, with per-channel status indication for commissioning and diagnostics.
