The ABB Pluto B46 v2 is a high-capacity programmable safety controller (Safety PLC) with 46 total I/O points, designed for complex machine safety applications. It offers 24 failsafe inputs, 16 failsafe inputs/non-failsafe outputs, 4 individually failsafe relay outputs, and 2 individually failsafe transistor outputs. Three of the inputs support 0-27V analog signals. The dual-processor architecture continuously monitors inputs and outputs for faults, achieving SIL 3 / PL e / Category 4 safety ratings. Up to 32 Pluto units can be networked on the CAN-based Pluto safety bus.
