The TM30/24 is a fail-safe bell transformer from the ABB TM range, providing safety extra-low voltage (SELV) secondary supplies for doorbells, chimes and discontinuous-duty low-voltage loads. Double insulation between primary and secondary windings ensures safe separation of the low-voltage circuit.
The transformer is rated 30 VA with a 230 V primary and dual secondary windings delivering 12 V AC (taps 5-6 and 6-7) and 24 V AC (taps 5-7), with secondary current of 1.25 A and maximum output current of 2.5 A. Insulation class is B, total power loss is 3 W and the unit operates at 50/60 Hz. It is built to IEC/EN 61558-2-8 and carries IMQ certification.
At three modular units wide with screw terminals accepting up to 2.5 mm² conductors, the TM30/24 mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail with IP20 protection and operates from +10 to +40 °C in residential and commercial distribution boards.
