This order code is a rotary handle operating mechanism (RHE) from the ABB Tmax XT moulded-case circuit breaker accessory family. It allows a Tmax XT breaker mounted inside a cabinet to be operated from the cabinet door through a rotary handle, giving clear open/closed indication and door-interlock safety.
The mechanism consists of the door-mounted handle assembly and the breaker-side coupling; the handle indicates the breaker state and can be padlocked in the open position for lockout/tagout maintenance. When the door handle is closed the cabinet door is interlocked to prevent opening while the breaker is on, with a defeat feature for maintenance access.
Installed on the enclosure door the accessory provides an IP54 degree of protection at the door face, keeping the breaker operator protected in industrial environments. It is designed for Tmax XT1–XT4 frames and built to IEC 60947-2 requirements.
