The 1SCA121454R1001 is an ABB OTDC16F2 DC switch-disconnector from the OTDC range of load-break switches purpose-built for direct-current circuits. It is a 2-pole device rated 16 A at 660 V DC (10 A at 1000 V DC), providing safe isolation and switching of DC loads.
OTDC disconnectors use a double-break contact system with rapid make/break action and DC-optimised arc quenching, giving reliable DC isolation in photovoltaic, battery, UPS and DC power-distribution systems. The switch provides visible contact gap indication and door-coupled or direct operation handles for lockout/tagout.
The compact F-frame mounts on a DIN rail within control and combiner boxes and is built to IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60947-3 for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear, including DC utilization categories.
