The ABB BEY38-4 is a connection set designed for easy and reliable assembly of star-delta (Y-Δ) starters using AF26 to AF38, AFC26 to AFC38, or AFS26 to AFS38 contactors. The set connects the main poles of the Line, Delta, and Star contactors using insulated solid copper bars: an upstream phase-to-phase connection between line and delta contactors, a downstream parallel connection between delta and star contactors, and a star point upstream connection on the star contactor. It simplifies wiring, ensures correct phase configuration, and provides a safe, compact star-delta starter solution rated at 690 V AC with screw terminal connections.
